National park philosophy

Let nature be nature

National parks form a global network of intact nature. They are an internationally recognised protection category and have to fulfil certain conditions:

„A national park is a natural area on land and/or in the sea which is destined to protect the ecological intactness of one or more ecosystems for present as well as future generations, to exclude exploitation or settlement which are harmful to the intended goal, and to provide which also provide a foundation for environmentally and culturally compatible spiritual, scientific, educational, recreational and visitor opportunities.“

Definition of IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources)

According to the principle “Let nature be nature” man respects the continuous change in the national park. That is process conservation.
