WildtierPark (wild animal park) Edersee

In the Wildpark Edersee you can watch our native species of wild animals in a relaxed atmosphere. You can also watch animals which populated our landscape in the past but are no longer to be found here today. For wolf, lynx, bison and aurochs are already died out in free nature. Other species such as red deer find less and less space to live in.



In the centre of the wilderness park you will find the bird of prey station. Here you can take a very close look at eagle owls, falcons, kites, golden eagles and Spanish imperial eagles.

Opening hours Wildpark and Fagutop

1 May to 31 October: 09.00 a.m.- 06.00 p.m.
1 November to 28 February: 11.00 a.m. - 04.00 p.m.
1 March to 30 April: 10.00 a.m. - 06.00 p.m.
Bird of prey flight show: daily except Mondays from 16 February to 15 November between 11.00 a.m. and 03.00 p.m.
